Worcester Accredited Installers

We are Worcester Bosch Accredited installers so we mainly install these boilers along with their own controls which are either load compensating or load compensating running along side weather compensating controls, These type of control systems help to maximum efficiency of the boiler whilst maintaining comfort levels in your home and also using as little energy as possible, This is one of the main benefits of using a manufacturers control option. As we are accredited Worcester installers we can offer up to 12 years parts and labour guarantee on new Worcester boiler installations, and which ever control type you have chosen to suit you best would also be covered under the same guarantee as the boiler.

It doesn’t stop there though as we have found out sometimes the manufacturers controls may not be suitable for a particular property especially larger properties which have different types of heat emitters linked to the same heat source, underfloor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs is the most common scenario. This is where as ecotechnicians we can advise the best control strategy for nearly all types of systems as we are in close contact with a few leading controls manufacturers in Europe. It doesn’t stop there though as we have found out sometimes the manufacturers controls may not be suitable for a particular property especially larger properties which have different types of heat emitters linked to the same heat source, underfloor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs is the most common scenario. Controls

The use of “smart connected” controls whether it be a boiler manufacturers or third part eg. Honeywell, Nest, Tado etc. has seen a massive increase in the last few years and ultimately this has given the end user greater flexibility, this allows them to adjust the settings of the heating system from a remote location via an internet connection. We encourage the use of this type of control as it could have multiple applications to further enhance comfort and efficiency of your home. Some of which are geofencing: a radius distance linked to your smart phone which activates your boiler when your on your way home, Home presence: detects the presence of your smart phone outside a normal timed program to bring your home up to comfort levels. Self learning: this monitors the usage pattern of your system and stores the information and uses it as a program for the heating system. Weather compensation: as mentioned above this type of control follows a an adjustable curve and changes the flow temperature of the water produced by the boiler, for example if the outdoor temperature is 5 degrees celsius the boiler would produce 50c water and if the outdoor temperature was to increase to say 15c the boiler would lower the water temperature to say 35c to compensate for the increase from natural heat sources.

We cater for all systems new and old so don’t worry if you don’t have the latest high efficiency boiler there are ways we can help improve the efficiency of your current setup. If you require any further information or would like to arrange a site visit please get in touch.
